Professional journey :

"After visiting colleges at different points in time as part of the campus hiring panel, at many times I have been personally and professionally disappointed with the final output of selected students whom we could hire for the organizations. Many times we could never hire anyone. Even at top league colleges inside the city and as well colleges in tier 2 and tier 3 cities we have faced the same situation. We have returned empty handed. We have been reading various surveys which have clearly stated the lack of employability skills of students who pass out from both professional colleges and the non –professional colleges. The percentage of selected candidates through the campus drives is vey negligible."

Vision & Mission

The talent pool in this country is enormous, all students aspire to become professionals, start working for big corporate companies, but predominantly a very small percentage is able to reach there .The talent can be developed and nurtured; we can definitely hone the potential and make diamonds of the stones, polish the edges and make the stone a shining example. Every person has the potential in them; we need to cull out the potential. Drive them to be smart and Motivated.

With globalization India has the competitive edge to have a highly skilled talent pool in the IT sector, having said that we still remain to be the back end outsourcing destination for the Developed countries as we have not been able to produce leaders. The talent in our colleges has remained to be dead and silent .

We have not been able to unleash the potential in them. To talk to students and ignite the passion of the intellect is the role of the teacher, our role is to combine this intellect with communication and leadership skills, certain behavioral skills which will help them stretch themselves, which will help them see beyond the horizons, empower them to set goals and achieve them, challenge themselves and move forward towards excellence and quality in their personal and professional lives.

Academic credentials

An M.Phil in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru university , post graduate diploma in Human resources management and a post graduate diploma in personnel management and industrial relations . Neuro linguistic practioner from the Richard Bandler Institute, a certified trainer, certified recruitment analyst and certified competency development manager from the Carlton Institute of Management studies.

Association with Toastmasters international which endeavors to make people excellent communicators and excellent leaders has given the adequate confidence, adequate discipline to share my experiences with others to develop them to being better communicators and better leaders in their respective walks of life.

Method of facilitation and training

Today we have to reckon with the fact that the fabric of the corporate environment is very dynamic and there is no one straight forward method by which professionals works. With a good blend of the old generation, the baby boomer, the generation x an gen y India inc is all open to absorb the changes which we are witnessing today in the global and the Indian context.

My approach towards conceptualizing and designing the program or workshop are totally in consonance with the discussions which I have with the program manager in the organization. My strong conviction is we cannot plug one program to another organization it has to be very organization specific, it has to fit the spectrum of the organization . The program objective are not the same or all groups and for all organizations. Each program is unique and after understanding what are areas, what are the gaps, what needs to be done, how it can be done , what will lead to the best result in terms of desired changes is exactly how I will conceive the program .Like a screenplay for a movie , the flow of the program will be discussed thread bare with program manager and after review an consensus the program can be rolled out to the participant. Through case studies, scenario and discussion, work sheet, problem solving are the methods through which the programs are conducted on the floor. This has proven to highly efficient and effective. The reason being all the participants will not be listening to a few slides in the form of PPT ‘S , all the participants are involved in working together solutions to the problems discussed in the sessions.

A blend of training , interaction , discussion , problem solving keeps the adrenalin of the participants flowing and there is never a dull moment , in fact many issues which cannot be discussed amongst all the colleagues or with the bosses are discussed in the forums and workable solutions are figured out .


A demonstrated approach which has proved to be effective

Storytelling, Nero linguistic techniques are the best therapies which I rely upon and it has been very successful with participants across different age groups. Being an active member of Toast Masters which aims to deliver the leader in you, has added a lot of confidence and each time my learning’s have been from all my workshops and communication labs where everything is demonstrated in a controlled environment and results have met the objectives of the program.

Corporate environment is rapidly gearing up, our professionals are no longer in a vacuum , with social networking and digital media sweeping the interiors of homes and corporate houses, the management has a humongous task at hand

Academy for communication and learning partners with School of Success to organize leadership programs for children from the age group of 6-15 years. The objective is to enable the learners to move past the others and acquire that competitive edge to reach thresholds of excellence in whatever they do.
